INGESTION: Eco-Friendly Card Game

ABOUT:

This game is made from trash collected from the Pacific Ocean. It is 100% eco friendly and is not only fun but teaches you a few things about how our garbage affects ocean life. Sold with 2 decks of 52 cards which makes a total of 108 cards to play with!

GAME SETUP:

• Shuffle the deck of cards

• Distribute 7 cards to each player

• Place the deck of cards in the middle of all the players face down. This is the Garbage Patch. 

• Then flip a card from the Garbage Patch and place it face up next to the deck to start the game. This is the Ocean.

• When the Garbage Patch runs out of cards, shuffle the Ocean pile and continue the game.

GAME RULES:

• Each player gets 7 cards (No more than 7 cards in your hand during the game)

• The player to the left of the dealer starts the game

• You have two options for your turn:

  • Pick up a card from the deck. End your turn.

  • Take a card from your hand and place it down on top of the previous card in the ocean pile. The card you place must match the color or number of the previous card.

    • If you place a trash card, the next player has to do what it says.

    • If you place a bonus card, you get the bonus

• Recycle Piles: Each player creates a recycle pile with the cards they collect from using trash cards. This pile goes untouched unless another player uses a trash card. Most of the time a player will have to give up some cards from their recycle pile to another player or back into the Ocean pile.

• Trash Cards: When a trash card is played, if the next player does not have a recycle pile they must play from what they have in their hand

• Bonus Cards: When a player places a bonus card, that player recieves the bonus. The cards won from the bonus go to the player's recycle pile.

THE GOAL: Be the first to clean the ocean by collecting all 100 cards (this excludes bonus cards) and get rid of all the pesky garbage players in the game by using trash cards.
